Hands-on Program for Kids Grades K-6!

Join us in the Museum’s Theater as we present exciting hour-long investigations into aviation for elementary school students! Open to kids in kindergarten through sixth grade, Amazing Aircraft provides an up-close encounter with an aircraft in our Gallery and a hands-on project to build a flying model.

A Program Fee of $6 per child ($4 Members) in addition to Museum admission must be paid on the day of the program in our Gift Shop. Circle your calendar and plan to join us for an exciting aerial adventure! Space is limited.

Program Descriptions

Space Shuttles
Master the science of satellite motion and investigate the parts of the space shuttle while building and launching an elastic-powered foam model of a shuttle orbiter. Get ready for blast off!


Airplanes Explore aircraft design with the Museum’s Cessna Cardinal before making and flying an elastic-powered propeller airplane in the Museum’s courtyard. We’re cleared for take-off!
