Watch aerobatics by John Collver in his 1944 WWII SNJ.
Pilot: Over 15,000 flight hours of flight time and over 45 years as a pilot. Started flying at age 13 and soloed at 16 and went on to obtain all his pilot ratings from Commercial to Airline Transport Pilot. Flown over 50 types of aircraft including the Good Year blimp and once in the famous television Airwolf helicopter as well as test flights of experimental light aircraft.
Aviation career as a flight instructor, International Aerobatic competition, Corporate pilot with Northrop / Grumman and currently air demonstration pilot for over 34 years and is an air show safety evaluator. John has flown such notables as Chuck Yeager, Dick Cheney, Casper Weinberger as well as California Senators Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer while flying for Northrop / Grumman.
Aircraft: Is a North American AT-6/SNJ Texan. An advanced trainer of WWll and light attack role in the Korean Conflict. Over 15,000 were built in US and Canada. John’s Aircraft Named War Dog was built in Dallas Texas in 1944.

Beautifully detailed radio control model aircraft will be on display at the Museum from 10 AM to 1 PM, with air show flight demonstrations from 10:30 AM to 12 PM.
