Special Announcement
At this year’s Gala, the Museum will present the first
Stanley Hiller, Jr. Intrepid Pioneer Award
to aviation legend Burt Rutan during dinner.
Burt Rutan is a highly influential innovator in the use of advance materials technology for aviation. He founded Scaled Composites, LLC, one of the world’s pre-eminent aircraft design and prototyping facilities where the first privately flown and funded craft to reach space was developed.
Table Sponsors and their guests, only, are invited to a special VIP reception for Mr. Rutan between 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. prior to the start of the Gala.
