Girl Scout Aviation Programs
Special programs for Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors provide unique opportunities to get close to aviation. Juniors completing the program are awarded a special Hiller Aviation Museum patch. Cadettes and Seniors completing their program are awarded the Girl Scouts of Northern California Aviation Interest Patch and complete several requirements for the Sky badge. All Scouts receive a special set of pilot wings signifying their achievements.
Junior Pilots
Open to Juniors Grades 4-5
Hiller Aviation Museum Badge Included in Program
Take flight on an adventure in aviation! Build and fly a rubber-powered airplane, explore the inside of real aircraft, complete a realistic flight simulation and tour the Museum's collection of historic aircraft. Find out about some of the many women who have played a role in the development of aviation.
Junior Pilot programs meet 9:30 AM-12 PM at the Hiller Aviation Museum. Program fees are $18 per girl and $5 per adult, and advance registration is required.

Open to Cadettes Grades 6-8 and Seniors Grades 9-10
Aviation Interest Patch Included in Program
Launch an adventure in flight and earn the Aviation Interest Patch at the Hiller Aviation Museum! Tour the Museum's collection and find out about the amazing women who have designed, built and flown aircraft since 1903. Land a small airplane in the flight simulators, investigate aviation weather, solve a compter-generated Air Traffic Control challenge and build and fly a model of the very first airplane flown by the Wright Brothers. The sky is no limit!
