Tours, Programs and Badge/Patch Workshops for Scouts of All Ages!

The Hiller Aviation Museum is pleased to provide aviation-themed experiences to Scouts of all ages. Tours and short hands-on programs may be scheduled for troops or packs, and more extensive full-day programs meeting Boy Scout Merit Badge and Girl Scout Interest Patch requirements are available for both individual Scouts and qualified groups.

• Group Tours provide groups of 12 or more Scouts and their adult leaders with an after-school or weekend field trip experience of 1-3 hours. Admission includes a guided tour, and an additional hands-on program may be added.


• Boy Scout Merit Badge Programs are intensive, all-day programs for Boy Scouts Grades 5 and up that allow the Scout to complete all requirements for the Aviation or Weather Merit Badge. Individual Scouts or small groups of Scouts from the same Troop may join one of the many open enrollment dates offered throughout the year, and Troops of 12 or more can make a special reservation for additional dates. All registrations are handled through the Hiller Aviation Museum.


• Girl Scout Aviation Patch Programs are 5.5-hour programs providing Girl Scouts Grades 6 and up an opportunity to complete all requirements for the Aviation Patch. Troops of 12 or more can make reservations for special dates, and individual Scouts and smaller Troops may enroll in open registration through the Girl Scouts of Northern California.
