Explore the world of autonomous flight and aerospace design in Drone Engineer!
Investigate the Engineering Design Process and discover how inventors create new ideas and make them fly. Experiment with electric circuits, simple machines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and more to master the skills needed to build robotic devices. Take on a daily design challenge using wind tunnels, flight simulators and more to craft new solutions and put them to the test.
Design, build and fly remotely piloted aircraft. Train to hand-fly a range of drone aircraft, then use drag-and-drop programming to command one to fly autonomously. Learn to fly racing drones in the Hiller Aviation Museum’s Drone Plex flight center using FPV (first person view) technology, then race through the Gallery and its aircraft collection in a thrilling final competition.
