Summer Aero Club
Summer Camps for Low Income Families
Summer Aero Club is a special opportunity for students eligible to receive free or reduced price meals as part of their public school enrollment to register for a full week of Aviation Camp. There is no charge to participate. Students may enroll in any one of four different week-long sessions, each investigating a different area of flight:
- Air & Space (August 2-6 and August 16-20)
- Physics Flyers (July 26-30 and August 23-27)
- Pilot Cadets (July 19-23)
- Robo Mechanic (August 9-13)
Summer Aero Club students participate in all Aviation Camp activities scheduled for their specific camp session.
No-Fee Enrollment for Income-Restricted Families
Full Day Only
Space for Summer Aero Club is limited and advanced registration is required. Applicants should be eligible to receive free/reduced price meals at their school in order to participate; a scan or picture of a letter confirming this status is requested in the online application. Once approved, applicants will be enrolled in the Aviation Camp session of their choice on a space-available basis.
As of July 21, all available spaces for Summer Aero Club are full. Families are invited to use the online registration system to join the waiting list to ensure notification if new spaces become available.
Summer Aero Club is funded through the generosity of the SAGA Foundation.
