Summer Aero Club
Summer Camps for Low Income Families
ALL SESSIONS FULL – SEE BELOW FOR WAITLIST INFORMATION
Summer Aero Club is a special opportunity for students eligible to receive free or reduced price meals as part of their public school enrollment to register for a full week of Aviation Camp. There is no fee to participate for income-qualified students, but space is limited. Students may enroll in any one of three different week-long sessions, each investigating a different area of flight:
- Invention Dimension (July 5-8 – 4-Day Session)
- Aero Engineers (July 11-15)
- Flight and Motion (July 25-29)
Summer Aero Club students participate in all Aviation Camp activities scheduled for their specific camp session.
No Cost Enrollment for Income-Restricted Families
Full Day Only
All available Summer Aero Club spaces were filled effective April 25, 2022. Families are welcome to join the waiting list by completing the advanced registration form, which is required of all applicants. In the event that additional space becomes available, waitlisted students will be provided an opportunity to enroll on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants should be eligible to receive free/reduced price meals at their school on an income-determined basis in order to participate; a scan or picture of a letter confirming this status is requested in the online application. For school districts providing universal free/reduced price meals, family income verification will be required. Once approved, applicants will be enrolled in the Aviation Camp session of their choice on a space-available basis.
Summer Aero Club is funded through the generosity of the SAGA Foundation.
