Explore the amazing world of remotely operated aircraft with an interactive demonstration! Join drone pilots from the Hiller Aviation Museum and its partners in a showcase of modern robotic aircraft. Learn about the history of robotic flight while observing a series of small remotely piloted aircraft fly freely in the Museum’s Atrium. Participants will be invited to fly a multirotor flight simulation for a brief foray into the brave new world of autonomous aviation.
Discover Drones includes approximately 30 minutes of lecture and flight demonstrations, followed by 15 minutes of flight simulation. The event is included with Museum admission, no additional ticket is required.
