HIRO 180X – FPV Action ($795 – $755 Members)

Do you or someone you love went to get into First Person View (FPV) drone racing, but don’t know where to start?  Join Hiller Aviation Museum and Aero Sports League for an all-new FPV Racing workshop this holiday season.  During this 6 hour immersive workshop you will:

• Work alongside the innovators of Drone Sports,
• Construct a camera-equipped FPV drone suitable for racing,
• Be briefed on FAA and local drone flight regulations,
• Utilize simulators to perfect flight skills,
• Learn to fly and race the drone you built.

The Drone Day Build-a-Thon is intended for adults seeking to learn to build and fly a high performance drone.  Primary participant must be 18 years or older to register.  Registration includes admission for up to 2 additional persons ages 14+ to participate in construction and flight training with a single Hiro 180-X aircraft.  All equipment needed to operate the Hiro 180X, including FPV goggles, radio, battery and charging equipment, is included.

HIRO 450 – Competition-Ready Quadcopter ($695 – $659 Members)

Take flight with the classic Aerial Sports League Hiro 450 aircraft!  This sturdy quadcopter is solidly built and able to withstand repeated crashes and impacts, making it an ideal choice for an introduction to hobby-level drone flight.  Each 6-hour program includes:

• Leadership and instruction with trained staff and volunteers
• Construction of a Hiro 450 quadcopter, complete with all accessories
• Be briefed on FAA and local drone flight regulations,
• Utilize simulators to perfect flight skills,
• Learn to fly the drone you built.
