Bridge Builders (Ages 5+)
Have you ever wanted to design your own bridge?  How long can you make it?  How much weight can it support? Bridges are built with many of the same principles as aircraft structures! This month in the Invention Lab explore the different types of bridges and how they are designed!

Using simple materials discover how you can make long, strong, and light structures and test them to see how much they can support.

Video Game Controller (Ages 8+)
What’s the secret to connecting a video game to the real, tactile world?  Find out in the Invention Lab!  Use an Arduino microprocessor to assemble an integrated circuit able to be used as a simple game controller.

Program is included with museum admission and no advance registration is required.  Facilitators will be available to help throughout the process.  Recommended for ages as indicated for the activities above.
