PRICES AND REGISTRATION

 

All camps run from 9 am to 4 pm.
Extended PM Care available for an additional fee.
Elementary camps: Grades K through 5, Ages 5 to 10
Intermediate camps: Grades 5 through 7, Ages 10-12
For 2024 summer camps, incoming grade for the 24-25 school year should fall into the above categories.

Camps from January 15 through July 5 and August 19 to 30

Camps from July 8 through August 16

Camp Schedule

Camp day runs from 9 am to 4 pm.

Included with Aviation Camp enrollment.

All campers not picked up by 4:15 will be placed in PM care. If camper is not registered for PM Care, parent will be billed $15 per afternoon for drop in care.

Late Pickup Fee
Applies to all campers not picked up by end of PM care time. 

After PM Care ends, parents will be billed $15 for every 15 minutes or fraction of that the camper remains in the care of Hiller Aviation Museum staff.

Camp space is limited and all registrations are subject to confirmation. Confirmations are sent via email upon receipt of registration. Enroll early for best camp availability.

Peak Weeks – July 8 – August 16

Camp capacity is constrained mid-July through mid-August due to increased demand.  An additional $30 charge applies to camp sessions during this period to facilitate incentives for Aviation Camp staff members to maintain full availability, helping to boost camp capacity throughout these weeks.

Field Trips – Air & Space Camp, Flight Engineers Camp, and Spaceflight Tech Camp

The following camps have a field trip on the Friday of the camp week: Air & Space, Flight Engineers, and Spaceflight Tech. Field trips fall within the camp day so drop off and pick up times remain the same throughout the whole week.

Air & Space is the only Elementary Camp to attend a field trip. The Air & Space camp is priced $30 higher than the other (non-field trip) elementary camps due to the field trip fee.

All Intermediate Camps include a field trip. The costs of the field trip is included within the regular registration fee. Please note that the 3-Day session of Flight Engineers that runs from July 1-3 does not include a field trip.

Air & Space Camp and Spaceflight Tech Camp travel to the John D. Morgan park in Campbell, CA to launch the model rockets they build throughout the camp week.

Information about field trip day is communicated during the week of camp. Campers must bring their lunch, snacks, and water bottle with them. Parents may attend the field trip under their own transportation and admission fees (fees for the USS Hornet only).

Hiller Aviation Museum Member Discount

Current Family-level and higher Members of the Hiller Aviation Museum are eligible to enroll at discounted Member prices.  Membership must be current at the time of registration and may be applied to all children within the family possessing the Membership.  For online enrollment, the “Member Price” option must be selected in the beginning of the enrollment screen, and either a valid Member number or cardholder name must be entered where prompted on the payment screen.  For in-person enrollment, present a valid Membership card at the time of registration to receive the discount.

Family Memberships are available starting at $129 per year and are highly recommended for families enrolling multiple children, or individual children for multiple sessions.  Membership includes admission to the Hiller Aviation Museum for a full year, discounts on Gift Shop and Aviation Camp enrollment, and invitations to special Members-only events.  Visit the Membership Page to purchase Membership online and you can immediately enroll your child(ren) for Aviation Camp at the member rate.

Membership must be current at the time of registration to receive the discount.  Discounts may not be credited or refunded retroactively.

Change and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations

  • ​Cancellations may be requested up to twenty-one days prior to the camp start date, with a $75 processing fee ($40 for one-day sessions) per session deducted from all refunds.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made by you for any reason less than twenty-one days prior to the start of a camp session.
  • We are sorry, but there are no refunds or reductions in fees for days missed due to illness, absence, last-minute vacations/trips, change in family circumstances during camp sessions, suspension, or dismissal.

Changes

Schedule changes/transfers will be accommodated on a space-available basis when requested at least twenty-one days prior to the camp start date.  Changes are subject to a $25 processing fee.
