Explore Special Aviation & STEM Adventures at the Hiller Aviation Museum!

Every Aviation Adventures session is a unique day of aviation and STEM exploration! Campers enjoy realistic flight simulator experiences, build and fly model aircraft, and participate in a variety of hands-on activities that may include engineering challenges, creative projects, experiments, games, and aircraft exploration. With different activities offered throughout the year, students can return again and again for new adventures, discoveries, and opportunities to learn through play.

School Year – Mixed Age Grouping

Please note that, while we always strive to group campers by age, school year camps & programs tend to see more mixed age groupings. We divide all enrolled K-5 enrolled students by age evenly across the number of groups we have based on enrollment and staffing. Typically, school year camps have between one and two groups. School year sessions tend to skew towards majority lower elementary enrollment. Students remain with their same teammates and instructional staff for the entirety of the session.

Curriculum

The curriculum shown is a tentative schedule of activities. While we strive to offer the experiences listed, activities may be modified or substituted as needed. Each session is designed to provide engaging, hands-on aviation and STEM learning opportunities.

Camp Daily Schedule

Camps meet full day, 9 AM – 4 PM.
Regular camp check-in begins at 8:30 AM, and check-out ends at 4:15 PM.
Extended PM hours are available for select sessions. PM Care end times and fees vary by session. See registration page for details.
The camp day is split into 4 activity sessions with a recess/meal break in between each session. Children will be assigned to discrete teams and remain with their team and the same instructional staff for the entire session.
