Authorized Pickup List
Make sure everyone (including yourself) is on the Authorized Adult Pick-up List for your camper. Names must match what is on identification. Hiller will not release a camper to a person who is not on their Authorized Adult Pick-up List. Guardians are to inform all persons authorized to pick up their child/ren from camp of this policy and are to instruct them to have a photo ID at time of pick-up. Visit your Activity Hero account to update your Authorized Pickup List or email us at camp@hiller.org
Instruction
Each Aviation Camp team is supervised by two adult staff members per group. Aviation Camp staff complete pre-camp training sessions, LiveScan fingerprint checks, and California mandatory reporter training. Additional museum staff members and volunteers work with campers as necessary to ensure an exceptional camp experience.
Grouping Requests
- If you have a grouping request that is not already indicated on your child’s registration, please email us immediately.
- Grouping requests must be sent by 12 PM on the Wednesday preceding the camp week.
- Children in Aviation Camp maybe broken into multiple teams. A master list will be posted showing the group assignments for the week and the team location. Please consult this list and sign your child in with his/her instructor in the team homeroom area.
- Campers are broken up by grade level, unless there is a grouping request that precludes that. With grouping requests, if it spans multiple grade levels, the younger camper is placed in the older camper’s group. Please note we may not be able to accommodate sibling or friend grouping requests with a one grade level or bigger age difference.
- If buddies carpool, please be sure to add these parents/guardians to the child’s pick-up list and make sure that all drivers have the contact information for each child’s parent or guardian.
If you have any questions, please contact us at camp@hiller.org.
