Remembering George Mendonca

Friends and family of the late George Mendonca are raising funds to add George’s name to the 737 cockpit at Hiller Aviation Museum.

George was a dedicated long-time Museum volunteer, extraordinary friend and storyteller, and pilot of the actual 737-200 on display at the Museum before it was retired and transformed into an educational exhibit.

He is greatly missed and his legacy will continue at Hiller Aviation Museum.

Secure online donations in George’s memory may be made on this page.

Donations may also be mailed to:
Development Department – 737
Hiller Aviation Museum
601 Skyway Road
San Carlos, CA 94070

Donations are 100% tax deductible, and donors will receive a gift acknowledgment letter.

If we reach the goal to add Captain George Mendonca’s name to the 737, a date will be chosen for an unveiling ceremony, and donors will be invited to attend.

Please help spread the word of this project in honor of George by sending a link to this webpage (www.hiller.org/remembering-george) to others who had the privilege of knowing him.
