The Hiller Museum is the perfect activity for the whole family. From Aircraft displays to exhibits, drones, and gifts.
We have something to inspire everyone at the Hiller Aviation Museum.

Fly a drone!

Discover the fun and challenge of drone flight! Observe drone demonstrations, take the controls of a realistic drone simulator, and pilot an actual drone in the Drone Plex flight center during Try and Fly.

Flight

Flight Simulators

In the Flight Sim Zone, take a virtual flight across the Bay and see the world from the unique perspective of a pilot. Real pilots will show you how to control a Cessna 172. 

Invention

Invention Lab

This “mini makers lab” has new hands-on activities for kids, exposing them to STEM in a fun and engaging way. Here they can use the tools of science to explore aviation, aerodynamics, engineering, assembly, and design.

The Hiller Aviation Museum is closed Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Closures also include select featured and private events.

Had a blast coming here with our family on Father’s Day this year. Our young boys were fascinating by every exhibit. Awesome being right by the municipal airport watching little planes take off and land too!

A little small but it jam packed with alot of history and airplanes. We took my toddler whose in love with airplanes at the moment!! We liked the informational videos and simulators. My kid loved going inside the helicopters and airplanes. The best part for him was going outside to the airstrip and watching the planes take off upclose. Will be coming again.

A wonderful place for aviation nerds or those that appreciate man made things that fly. The gift shop is pretty good and all, but the main hanger is pretty cool. The kids loved playing around and the adults liked learning about airplanes and helicopters and other things that go up.

This is a great place to see all kinds of avionics. They have models of all sorts of craft, as well as retired craft. I could spend hours here!
They have special events for toddlers. They have simulations for flights and drones.
Their store is very stocked with all sorts of models you could purchase as well.

This was such an awesome experience! I was amazed at how much history I was looking at and how many brave souls took to the sky with their unique inventions. All I could think about was how brave all of these people were for even trying. The 747 cockpit was my favorite it was surreal being in the pilots seat. The gift shop was very well stocked with model airplanes and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I’ll be back.

Love's this small but wonderful aviation museum! So many things to do in a small place. My 6 year old had a lot of fun with various hands on experiments and flight simulators! The gift shop also carries a lot of fun items.
