The Hiller Aviation Museum is open on Monday, April 8th to host public viewing of the solar eclipse! Solar eclipses occur when Earth’s Moon appears to pass in front of the Sun, blocking part or all of its light.

During World War II, the intrepid airmen of the Mighty Eighth Air Force of the USAAF took the war into the heart of Hitler’s Third Reich. 50,000 of these airmen were shot down. 3,000 escaped death and evaded capture. These are the stories of the ones who got away!
