Invention Lab Activities for December, 2016
Build-a-Plane (ages 2 and up)
Light Your Flight (ages 8 and up)
Paper Planes (ages 5 and up)
All activities are available whenever the Invention Lab is open. Capacity is limited and all space is on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents must remain with children at all times in the Invention Lab. Program is included with museum admission and no advanced registration is required.

Daily Dec 21-Jan 1 (except Dec 25)
With expert help from one of our volunteer pilots, discover how airplanes move in three-dimensions with your hands at the controls. Take a virtual flight across the Bay and see the world from the unique perspective of a pilot.
Pass Required.
- $3 per Pass (in addition to museum admission).
- Pass is free for Members.

11 am to 2 pm
Fly with a pilot instructor in an FAA approved full-motion flight simulator, the kind typically seen only in flight schools and training academies used in real world flight training. The cockpit is fully functional and the sensations of flight are amazing. This is the most realistic experience possible short of flying a real airplane!

1 pm – 3 pm (competition-level quadcopters)
Discover the fun and challenge of drone flight with instruction. Each 20-minute program includes a preflight briefing, practice with a drone flight simulator and flight time with a real quadcopter within the Drone Plex.
