Fly the edge of the envelope at Fighter Aces! Take the controls in a thrilling series of flight simulations, using new Prepar3D software and the Museum’s Flight Sim Zone to recreate a wide range of aircraft, ranging from the Cessna 172 trainer to modern F-22 and F-35 aircraft. Complete a series of training exercises leading to a special mission in the FMX full-motion simulator!

Explore the design features that have kept fighter aircraft at the highest level of performance from 1914 to the present day. Discover design requirements for supersonic flight and carrier operations, and then investigate low-observable (stealth) technology. Construct detailed models highlighting design features of fighter aircraft from four different eras, and discover the air combat maneuvers used by each.
