Follow in the Footsteps of Wilbur and Orville!
Grades K-5

Program Dates:

*1-Day session
Join the journey to the skies!
Wright Flight recreates the exciting program of scientific experimentation Orville and Wilbur Wright embarked upon over a century ago in their quest to build a practical airplane. Campers use a wind tunnel to experiment with wing shapes, and build and fly model aircraft of all sorts before assembling and launching a flying replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer. Vintage flight simulation scenarios put campers at the controls of the Flyer and other historic aircraft, and the cockpits of many of the Museum’s remarkable airplanes and helicopters open for investigation. The sky is no limit for the adventure of flight!
